Plenty of Giveaways at Forest Hills Park

Bike helmets and trees were given away in separate events held at Forest Hills’ MacDonald Park on Sunday, May 18. In the left photo, City Council Member Karen Koslowitz (not shown) sponsored a bike helmet distribution, in which youngsters were provided with safety gear and various tips on proper pedaling. In the right photo, the Four Borough Preservation Alliance provide saplings to homeowners to plant in their front or rear yards in the organization’s ongoing effort to beautify the city.
