Weekend Work Shuts J & M Train Service

J train service between Marcy Avenue and Broadway Junction—and the entire weekend M train shuttle— will be suspended for scheduled construction this weekend, from 3:30 a.m. Saturday, May 10, until 10 p.m. Monday, May 11. This service disruption will be repeated the following two weekends.

During this period, J trains will run in two sections—between Jamaica Center and Broadway Junction and between Marcy Avenue and Chambers Street.

Shuttle buses will replace J train service between Marcy Avenue and Broadway Jucntion. M shuttle service will also be replaced by shuttle buses, which will operate to and from Marcy Avenue.

For alternate service to and from Manhattan, transfer to the A or C train at Broadway Junction or the L train at Broadway Junction or Myrtle- Wyckoff Avenues.

The shuttle buses will stop at all affected stations as follows:

J train shuttle bus

• Broadway Junction—on Fulton Street at Van Sinderen Avenue;

• Chauncey Street—on Rockaway Avenue at Broadway (to Marcy Avenue) or on Bushwick Avenue at Chauncey Street (to Broadway Junction);

• Halsey Street—on Bushwick Avenue at Halsey Street;

• Gates Avenue—on Bushwick Avenue at Gates Avenue;

• Kosciuszko Street—on Bushwick Avenue at Stockholm Street (to Marcy Avenue) or at Kosciuszko Street (to Broadway Junction);

• Myrtle Avenue-Broadway—on Bushwick Avenue at Myrtle Avenue (to Marcy Avenue or Broadway Junction), at Stanwix Street (to Marcy Avenue only) or at Jefferson Street (to Broadway Junction or a Metropolitan Avenue-bound M shuttle bus);

• Flushing Avenue—on Flushing Avenue at Humboldt Street (to Marcy Avenue) or at Broadway (to Broadway Junction or a Metropolitan Avenue M shuttle bus);

• Lorimer Street—on Broadway at Lorimer Street;

• Hewes Street—on Broadway at Hooper Street; and

• Marcy Avenue—on Broadway at Rodney Street.

M train shuttle bus

• Metropolitan Avenue—on Metropolitan Avenue across from the M train station entrance;

• Fresh Pond Road—on Putnam Avenue at Fresh Pond Road (to Marcy Avenue) or on Fresh Pond Road at Putnam Avenue (to Metropolitan Avenue);

• Forest Avenue—on Putnam Avenue at Forest Avenue (to Marcy Avenue) or on Fairview Avenue at Forest Avenue (to Metropolitan Avenue);

• Seneca Avenue—on Seneca Avenue at Palmetto Street;

• Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenues—on Gates Avenue at Wyckoff Avenue;

• Knickerbocker Avenue—on Myrtle Avenue at Knickerbocker Avenue;

• Central Avenue—on Myrtle Avenue at Cedar Street (to Marcy Avenue) or at DeKalb Avenue (to Metropolitan Avenue);

• Myrtle Avenue-Broadway—on Myrtle Avenue at Bushwick Avenue (to Metropolitan Avenue) or on Bushwick Avenue at Jefferson Street (to Metropolitan Avenue or the Broadway Junction-bound J shuttle bus);

• Flushing Avenue—on Flushing Avenue at Humboldt Street (to Marcy Avenue) or at Broadway (Metropolitan Avenue or a Broadway Junction-bound J shuttle bus);

• Lorimer Street—on Broadway at Lorimer Street;

• Hewes Street—on Broadway at Hooper Street; and

• Marcy Avenue—on Broadway at Rodney Street.

Weekday J, M Trains Skip Wmbg. Stations

Jamaica Center-bound J trains and Middle Village-bound M trains will skip the Hewes Street, Lorimer Street and Flushing Avenue stations on Thursday, May 8, and Friday, May 9, from 9:45 a.m. until 3 p.m.

For service to these stations, take the J or M train to Myrtle Avenue, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound J or M train. For service from these stations, take the J or M train to Marcy Avenue (only for riders with Unlimited MetroCards) or Essex Street, then transfer to a Jamaica Center-bound J train or a Middle Village-bound M train.

It was noted that Manhattan-bound J trains will end quickstop service at 9:45 a.m. Thursday and Friday. All Manhattan-bound J trains will stop at Flushing Avenue, Lorimer Street and Hewes Street after that time.

More Disruptions Affect The 7 Line

Manhattan-bound 7 trains will skip the 111th Street, 103rd Street, 90th Street and 82nd Street stations today, Thursday, May 8, from 10:15 a.m. until 3 p.m.

For service to these stations, take the 7 train to Junction Boulevard or 74th Street, then transfer to a Flushing-bound 7 train. For service from these stations, take the 7 train to Junction Boulevard or Mets-Willets Point, then transfer to a Manhattanbound 7 train.

Additionally, Flushing-bound 7 trains will operate express service between Queensboro Plaza and Mets- Willets Point on Monday, May 12, through Friday, May 16, from 10:15 a.m. until 3 p.m. These trains will continue to stop at Woodside-61st Street and Junction Boulevard.

For service to the 33rd Street, 40th Street, 46th Street, 52nd Street, 69th Street, 74th Street, 82nd Street, 90th Street, 103rd Street and 111th Street stations, take the 7 train to Woodside- 61st Street, Junction Boulevard or Mets-Willets Point, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound 7 train. For service from these stations, take the 7 train to Junction Boulevard, Woodside-61st Street or Queensboro Plaza, then transfer to a Flushing-bound 7 train.

A Train Disrupted In Oz. Pk. On Weekend

A trains will not operate between Rockaway Boulevard and Lefferts Boulevard in Ozone Park this weekend, from 11:45 p.m. Friday, May 9, until 5 a.m. Monday, May 12.

During this period, the A train will operate in two sections: between 207th Street and Howard Beach-JFK Airport; and between 207th Street and Far Rockaway. Additionally, the Rockaway Park Shuttle will not operate.

Shuttle buses will replace A trains between 80th Street and Lefferts Boulevard, making all local stops. Howard Beach- and Far Rockawaybound A trains, meanwhile, will skip the 88th Street and Rockaway Boulevard stations.

For service to 88th Street and Rockaway Boulevard, take the A train to Aqueduct-North Conduit Avenue, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound A train. For service from these stations, take the A train to 80th Street, then transfer to a Howard Beach- or a Far Rockaway-bound A train, or the free shuttle bus to Lefferts Boulevard.

Additionally, shuttle buses will replace the Rockaway Park Shuttle between Beach 116th Street and Beach 67th Street, where the A train is available.

More Split Service On L Line In Bklyn.

L trains will operate in two sections—between Eighth Avenue and Broadway Junction and between Broadway Junction and Rockaway Parkway—on Thursday, May 8, and Friday, May 9, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Riders can transfer between L trains at Broadway Junction to continue their trip.

It was noted that all L trains between Rockaway Parkway and Broadway Junction will operate every 24 minutes. Riders are advised to allow for additional travel time.

Additionally, the last stop for alternating Canarsie-bound L trains will be Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenues on Monday, May 12, through Friday, May 16, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Riders can transfer between Canarsiebound L trains at Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenues to continue their trip.

It was noted that L trains to Canarsie will operate every 12 minutes.

Overnight Express E And Local F Trains

Jamaica Center-bound E trains will run express service between Queens Plaza and Roosevelt Avenue late nights on Friday, May 2, from 12:15 until 5 a.m.

For service to the 36th Street, Steinway Street, 46th Street, Northern Boulevard and 65th Street stations, take the E train to Roosevelt Avenue, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound E train. For service from these stations, take the E train to Queens Plaza, then transfer to a Jamaica Center-bound E train .

Additionally, Jamaica-bound F trains will operate local service between Roosevelt Avenue and 71st- Continental Avenues on Friday, May 2, from 12:01 until 5 a.m.

Manhattan-bound F trains will also run local service between 71st- Continental Avenues and 21st Street-Queensbridge during the same time period.

Riders are advised to allow for additional travel time.

Weeknight Switch For F Trains To Manhattan

Jamaica-bound F trains will run on the E line between 47th-50th Streets and Roosevelt Avenue this weekend, from 9:45 p.m. Friday, May 9, until 5 a.m. Monday, May 12. As a result of this change, there will be no Jamaicabound F train service at the 57th Street, Lexington Avenue-63rd Street, Roosevelt Island and 21st Street- Queensbridge stations.

Late Night Service Slowed On G Line

G trains will operate every 20 minutes between Court Square and Bedford-Nostrand Avenue from 5 a.m. Saturday, May 10, until midnight Sunday, May 11. Riders are advised to allow for additional travel time.

Additionally, during this service change, the last stop for alternating Church Avenue-bound G trains will be Bedford-Nostrand Avenues. Riders can transfer to a Church Avenuebound

G train at Bedford-Nostrand Avenues to continue their trip.

Local Service On E & F This Weekend

E and F trains will operate local service in both directions between Queens Plaza and 71st-Continental Avenues this weekend, from 12:30 a.m. Saturday, May 10, until 5 a.m. Monday, May 12. Riders are advised to allow for additional travel time.

F Train To Manhattan Is A Late Night Local

Manhattan-bound F trains will run local service between Roosevelt Avenue and 21st Street-Queensbridge on Tuesday, May 6, through Friday, May 9, from 12:01 to 5 a.m. Riders are advised to allow for additional travel time.

N Trains Skip Stops In Astoria Weekdays

Astoria-bound N trains will skip the 39th Avenue, 36th Avenue, Broadway and 30th Avenue stations on Thursday, May 8, and Friday, May 9, from 10:15 a.m. until 3 p.m.

During this period, there will be no Q train service between 57th Street in Manhattan and Ditmars Boulevard in Astoria.

For service to these stations, take the N train to Astoria Boulevard, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound N train. For service from these stations, take the N train to Queensboro Plaza, then transfer to an Astoria-bound N train.
