ANTHONY ZAMPELLI died on Friday, June 20, at the age of 84. He was the husband of the late Rose Zampelli,
loving father of Frank Zampelli, Anthony Zampelli and Matthew Zampelli, father-in-law of Rose and Deborah,
cherished grandfather of Amanda, Rachel, Vanessa, Anthony, Alexandra and Samuel and dear brother of Anna Morales
and Theresa Pedula. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served during the Korean Conflict. A Mass of Christian Burial
was offered on Monday, June 23, at Our Lady of Hope Church, Middle Village, followed by interment at St. John
Cemetery, Middle Village, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

CAROLINE FARDELLONE died on Wednesday, June 18, at the age of 97. She was the wife of the late Anthony
Fardellone, loving mother of Peter and Susan Fardellone; Anthony and the late Eileen Fardellone; Richard and Eugenie
Fardellone; Jill and the late James Shust; and Gail Fardellone, cherished grandmother of Jerilyn, Thomas, Joseph,
Matthew, James, David, Michael, Dawn, Angela and Shannon and great-grandmother of Stephen, Lauren, Gianna,
Caitlin, Brenner, Kristen, Sophia, Anthony, Brian, Dominic, Jayden and Gabrielle. She is also survived by numerous
loving nieces, nephews and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Monday, June 23, at St. Mary’s Church,
Woodside, followed by interment at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City, N.J., under the direction of Papavero Funeral
Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.
