No injuries were reported after a fire broke out inside a Ridgewood laundromat on Sunday afternoon, June 15, Fire Department sources said. Reportedly, the one-alarm fire ignited at about 1:15 p.m. inside David’s Laundromat, located on Cypress Avenue near Decatur Street. Responding to the scene (in the order of arrival) were Squad companies 252 and 288; Engine companies 286, 277 and 233; Ladder companies 135, 112 and 176; Rescue 4 and Battalions 28 and 37–under the direction of Division 14-along with the 104th Precinct and EMS units. Three hose lines were used by firefighters to bring the blaze under control, an FDNY source said.
