Suspect in ‘Gatsby’ robbery arrested in Queens: FBI

KEW GARDENS — The FBI announced the arrest of suspect dubbed the “Gatsby Bandit” Tuesday.

Patrick Considine, 48, was taken into custody in Queens and charged with the May 27 robbery of an HSBC Bank branch in Manhattan, according to the FBI.

Considine was allegedly identified by a caller who recognized his photo in media coverage, the FBI said.

Considine was still considered to be a suspect in two other bank robberies in Queens, the FBI said: the Santander Bank, at 83-20 Roosevelt Ave., May 7 and the Investors Bank, at 31-01 Broadway, May 12.
