Suspects lift phones from Ozone Park cell stores: Cops

OZONE PARK — Police were trying to identify two men they said stole phones from western Queens electronics stores in broad daylight over the last two weeks.

The suspects allegedly entered a store on 101st Avenue at 2:30 p.m. June 10 and removed three smartphones, according to the NYPD.

On June 20, they went into a second store and swiped an iPhone and a Samsung Galaxy, police said.

Police described the first suspect as black and 5-foot-6.

The second suspect was described by authorities as a 5-foot-6 Hispanic man with black hair and a light complexion.
