ASTORIA — A 39-year-old motorcyclist was killed in Astoria early Friday morning after he swerved across lanes and struck two parked cars, the NYPD said.

Police said Balazs Pusztahazi, of Astoria, was riding a 2011 Yamaha motorcycle near Astoria Boulevard and 41st Street around 1:45 a.m. when he attempted to swerve from the left lane into the center lane. The bike hit two parked SUVs, a 2007 Kia Sedona and a 1998 Toyota 4-Runner, and Pusztahazi was thrown from the bike, authorities said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS responders and no other injuries were reported, according to the NYPD.
