Congressional candidate Grant Lally opened a campaign headquarters in Queens last weekend as he continues his quest to unseat U.S. Rep. Steve Israel (D-Melville).
Lally, who is running on the GOP ticket as well as the Conservative line in November, unveiled a new office Sept. 14 at 24-55 Francis Lewis Blvd. in Whitestone, one of the four Queens neighborhoods in the district Lally is seeking to represent, which also serves Little Neck, Douglaston and Bay Terrace and stretches into Long Island.
With less than two months to go until the election, Israel is also stepping up his re-election efforts, as he released his first television ad this week.
The commercial was unveiled Sept. 15 and highlights the congressman’s dedication to helping New York’s middle class and small businesses, a platform he has been known for throughout his tenure as a legislator.
