Sunday Service For Thanksgiving Day

New York City Transit subways and buses and MTA Bus Company lines will operate a Sunday schedule today, Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 27. Riders are advised to plan their trips accordingly.

J Train Skips Stops In B’wick Saturday

Manhattan-bound J trains will skip the Chauncey Street, Halsey Street, Gates Avenue and Kosciuszko Street stations on Saturday, Nov. 29, from 5:45 a.m. to 6 p.m.

For service to these stations, take the J train to Myrtle Avenue, then transfer to a Jamaica Centerbound J train. For service from these stations, take the J train to Broadway Junction, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound J train.

Additionally, J trains will operate local service in both directions between Myrtle Avenue and Marcy Avenue on Tuesday through Thursday, Dec. 2-4, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Riders are advised to allow for additional travel time.

Some L Trains Make Last Stop In R’wood

Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenues will be the last stop for alternate L trains from Manhattan on Monday through Friday, Dec. 1-5, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

For Canarsie-bound service, transfer between L trains at Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenues to continue the trip. It was noted that trains will operate every 12 minutes between Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenues and Canarsie-Rockaway Parkway.

Late Night Express For E; Local For F

Manhattan-bound E trains will operate express service between Roosevelt Avenue and Queens Plaza late nights on Monday through Friday, Dec. 1-5, from 11:45 p.m. to 5 a.m.

For service to the 65th Street, Northern Boulevard, 46th Street, Steinway Street and 36th Street stations, take the E train to Queens Plaza, then transfer to a Jamaica Center-bound E train. For service from these stations, take the E train to Roosevelt Avenue, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound E train.

Additionally, Jamaica-bound F trains will make all local stops between 21st Street-Queensbridge and Roosevelt Avenue late nights on Tuesday through Friday, Dec. 2-5, from 12:30 to 5 a.m. Riders are advised to allow for additional travel time.

Station Renewal Affects A Train

The Manhattan-bound platforms at the 88th Street and 104th Street A train stations in Ozone Park remain closed through January 2015 for repairs related to the MTA’s station renewal program.

For service to these stations, take the A train to 80th Street, then transfer to an Ozone Park-bound or a Far Rockaway-bound A train. For service from these stations, take the A train to Rockaway Boulevard or 111th Street, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound A train.

Additionally, Manhattanbound A trains will skip the 111th Street station this weekend, from 11:45 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, until 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 17. For service to this station, take the Q112 bus along Liberty Avenue (days and evenings only) or the A train to Rockaway Boulevard, then transfer to an Ozone Parkbound A train.

For service from this station, take the A train to Lefferts Boulevard, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound A train.
