Diamond Jubilee for Juniper Civic

Members of the Juniper Park Civic Association (JPCA) celebrated the organization’s 75th anniversary in style with a party last Wednesday, Dec. 17, at Villa Erasmo restaurant in Middle Village. Founded in 1938 as the Eliot Avenue Civic Association, the JPCA has worked through the years to advocate for and against various issues in Maspeth and Middle Village. The organization publishes a quarterly magazine, The Juniper Berry, and counts more than 1,700 residents among members. Among those pictured with guests at the party are the JPCA’s ranking leadership, including President Robert Holden, First Vice President Lorraine Sciulli, Second Vice President John Kilcommons, Treasurer Tony Nunziato, Sergeant-at-arms Manny Caruana and Secretary Lu Sadowski.
