J & M Skip Bklyn. Stops On Weekdays
Jamaica Center-bound J trains and Middle Village-bound M trains will skip the Hewes Street, Lorimer Street and Flushing Avenue stations on Tuesday through Thursday, Dec. 9-11, from 9:45 a.m. to 3 p.m.
As a result of this change, all Manhattan-bound J trains will make local stops between Myrtle Avenue-Broadway and Marcy Avenue after 9:45 a.m. each day.
For service to the skipped stations, take the J or M trains to Myrtle Avenue-Broadway, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound J or M train. For service from the skipped stations, take the J or M train to Marcy Avenue (Unlimited MetroCard holders only) or Essex Street, then transfer to a Jamaica Center-bound J train or a Middle Village-bound M train.
Additionally, J trains will operate local service in both directions between Myrtle Avenue and Marcy Avenue on Thursday, Dec. 4, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Riders are advised to allow for additional travel time.
Daytime Disruptions On 7 Train To Man.
Manhattan-bound 7 trains will skip the 111th Street, 103rd Street, 90th Street and 82nd Street stations on Monday, Dec. 8, through Thursday, Dec. 11, from 10:15 a.m. until 3 p.m. These trains will continue to stop at Junction Boulevard.
For service to these stations, take the 7 train to Junction Boulevard or 74th Street, then transfer to a Flushing-bound 7 train. For service from these stations, take the 7 train to Junction Boulevard or Mets- Willets Point, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound 7 train.
Some L Trains Make Last Stop In R’wood
Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenues will be the last stop for alternate L trains from Manhattan on Thursday and Friday, Dec. 4-5, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
For Canarsie-bound service, transfer between L trains at Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenues to continue the trip. It was noted that trains will operate every 12 minutes between Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenues and Canarsie-Rockaway Parkway.
Late Night Express On E This Weekend
Jamaica Center-bound E trains will operate express service Queens Plaza and Roosevelt Avenue late nights this weekend, Saturday through Monday, Dec. 6- 8, from 12:15 to 5 a.m. each day.
For service to the 36th Street, Steinway Street, 46th Street, Northern Boulevard and 65th Street stations, take the E train to Roosevelt Avenue, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound E train. For service from these stations, take the E train to Queens Plaza, then transfer to a Jamaica Centerbound E train.
Overnight Woes Hit E, F Lines In Queens
Manhattan-bound E and F trains will skip the 75th Avenue station late nights on Monday, Dec. 8, through Friday, Dec. 12, from 10:45 p.m. to 5 a.m.
For service to this station, take the E or F train to 71st- Continental Avenues, then transfer to a Jamaica Center-bound E train or a Jamaica-bound F train. For service from this station, take the E or F train to Union Turnpike, then transfer to a Manhattanbound E or F train.
Additionally, Manhattan-bound F trains will run on the M line between Roosevelt Avenue and 47th-50th Streets late nights, Monday through Friday, Dec. 8- 12, from 11:45 p.m. to 5 a.m.
As a result of this change, Manhattan-bound F train service will be unavailable at the 21st Street-Queensbridge, Roosevelt Island, Lexington Avenue-63rd Street and 57th Street stations.
For service to these stations, take the F train to 47th-50th Streets, then transfer to a Jamaicabound F train. For service from these stations, take the F train to Roosevelt Avenue, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound F train.
Disruptions Slow G Train In Bklyn.
Bedford-Nostrand Avenues will serve as the last stop for alternate Church Avenue-bound G trains this Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 6-7, from 5 a.m. to midnight. This service change will be in effect each weekend through Sunday, Dec. 28.
Riders can transfer between G trains at Bedford-Nostrand Avenues to continue their trip.
It was noted that all G trains running between Court Square and Bedford-Nostrand Avenues will operate every 20 minutes. Riders are advised to allow for additional travel time.
Work Shuts Station On Ozone Pk. Line
Manhattan-bound A trains will skip the 111th Street station this weekend, from 11:45 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, until 5 a.m. Monday, Dec. 8.
For service to this stop, take the A train to Rockaway Boulevard, then transfer to an Ozone Parkbound A train. For service from this station, take the A train to Lefferts Boulevard, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound A train.
The Q112 bus along Liberty Avenue also provides alternate service to and from the 104th Street station.
The Manhattan-bound platforms at the 88th Street and 104th Street A train stations in Ozone Park remain closed through January 2015 for repairs related to the MTA’s station renewal program.
For service to these stations, take the A train to 80th Street, then transfer to an Ozone Park-bound or a Far Rockaway-bound A train. For service from these stations, take the A train to Rockaway Boulevard or 111th Street, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound A train.
