Man injured after punch in face on Bell Blvd: Police

BAYSIDE — Police were looking for two suspects who assaulted a man on Bell Boulevard Jan. 25.

The assault occurred in front of the Safari Bar, at 40-45 Bell Blvd., about 2:55 a.m., police said.

The NYPD said the victim was punched in the face, causing him serious injuries.

Last August, a man was stabbed at the Bell Boulevard establishment during a dispute with another patron. Days later, police arrested a Whitestone man in connection with the knife attack.
