Police have released video footage of a Richmond Hill hit-and-run that left a 63-year-old woman seriously injured.
An SUV was traveling eastbound on 89th Avenue near Lefferts Boulevard about 8:45 a.m. on Sunday when the car hit the woman, police said.
The victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital in serious condition, but is likely to survive.
Authorities said the driver fled the scene eastbound on 89th Avenue. They are still searching for the vehicle, a 2013-15 dark gray Nissan Pathfinder SUV.
