A man and woman were found dead Friday afternoon in their Flushing home in what appeared to be a murder-suicide, the NYPD said.
At about 2:51 p.m. Friday, police found the bodies of a 42-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman with gunshot wounds to their heads on the third floor of their home at 147-24 Beach Ave. in Flushing, police said.
The woman has been identified as Song Shim, they said. The identity of the man was pending family notification.
It appeared that the man shot the woman and then shot himself, according to a police spokesman.
The investigation was continuing, he said.
