BAYSIDE — A breaking and entering was reported at a single-family residence on March 9, but nothing had been taken, police sources said.
Cops did not indicate which street the attempted burglary took place on, but said the 51-year-old victim had returned home from work at about 7 p.m. to find a rear house window shattered. There was not home surveillance system and neighbors did not report anything suspicious, police at the 111th Precinct said.
Chairs in the dining room of the Bayside home were moved from their places, but apparently nothing was taken, cops said.
