Suspects sought in E train robbery: Cops

JAMAICA — Police were looking for two men wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred at about 10:55 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28 on the northbound side of the E train platform at Jamaica Avenue and Van Wyck Expressway subway station.

The suspects got out on the southbound side of the E train and assaulted an 18-year-old male victim, before fleeing on foot with his iPhone 5, wallet, jacket and $50, police said.

The suspects are both described as Hispanic males.

One is about 19, 5-foot-11, and 160 pounds, while the other is about 20, 5-foot-10 and 130 pounds, according to the police.

The incident occurred within the confines of the 102nd Precinct and the investigation was ongoing, police said.
