Four suspects wanted in LIC robbery

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating four suspects wanted in connection with a Long Island City robbery last week.

Police say the 30-year-old male victim was approached by the suspects at 6 a.m. on Sept. 6 in front of 36-17 34th St. in the confines of the 114th Precinct.

One of the suspects brandished a firearm while demanding property of the man, according to authorities. The thieves succeeded in removing jewelry and an iPhone from the victim before fleeing in their vehicle, a gray Nissan Altima.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
