Astoria’s newest restaurant was on the edge of glory this week with a visit from a pop superstar.
The Pomeroy, a new eatery that opened in Astoria on Tuesday, got a stamp of approval from none other than Lady Gaga.
Lady Gaga attended the opening of the restaurant, which is owned by her childhood best friend Bo O’Conner, and serves a mix of comfort food, a whole fried chicken and mac and cheese, and snacks like rice balls filled with porcini mushrooms and fontina. The Pomery also offers a whole slew of seasoned vegetables and potatoes.
We Heart Astoria first reported the singer’s attendance.
The restaurant, located at 36-12 Ditmars Blvd., is open Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. and Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
