WOODSIDE — Police from the 108th Precinct were searching for two suspects in an alleged Woodside robbery on Sept. 11.

Two men approached a 31-year-old man from behind as he was walking on 61st Street, near 39th Avenue, around 3:30 a.m. the NYPD said.

One grabbed the victim’s arms while the other rifled through his pockets and stole his wallet, credit cards and cash, police said.

The suspects fled the scene and were later captured on surveillance video trying to use the man’s credit cards in a store, according to the NYPD.

No injuries were reported and the police continue to investigate. Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
