Police are looking for three suspects — two men and one woman — who entered a victim’s car in Astoria Wednesday night and then robbed him at knifepoint.

The suspects entered the car of the 22-year-old victim at about 4:30 a.m. while he was parked in front of the New Happy Deli & Grocery at 32-02 36th Ave.

The first suspect— described as a black man wearing a red hat and black hoodie— entered the passenger side front seat and took out a knife which he then put on the victim’s abdomen while the second male suspect sat behind the victim and restrained him by holding his neck, authorities said.

According to police, the first suspect then took $350 in cash from the center console of the car and the victim’s iPhone.

A surveillance photo of the first suspect has been released and an investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information regarding the robbery or the suspects’ whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS, visit their website or send a text message to 274637 (CRIMES), then enter TIP577. All calls and messages are kept confidential.
