A construction foreman suffered bruises, bleeding and lacerations after his former employees, who claimed he owed them money, struck him with metal pipes.

On Nov. 25 at 4:20 p.m. the victim, a 39-year-old male, had a dispute with two former employees at a construction site located at 41-11 24th Street in Long Island City.

The men demanded that the victim pay them for previous work, police said. They then struck the victim with metal pipes and stole his Samsung Galaxy phone worth $360 and fled the scene.

The victim suffered lacerations, bruising and bleeding on his leg, hand, arm and neck, according to police. He was taken to Cornell Hospital where he was treated and released.

One suspect returned to the construction site on Dec. 3 and was arrested and charged on the scene.

Police have released a photo of the second suspect, who is still on the run.
