REGO PARK — Police from the 112th Precinct were asking the public’s help in finding a suspect wanted in connection with a bank robbery.
Last Friday the suspect entered the Astoria Bank branch at 97-33 Queens Blvd., just after 4:30 p.m., and passed a teller a note demanding money.
The teller gave the suspect $2,600 before the suspect fled the location in an unknown direction, according to the NYPD. The suspect is described as a white man, 5-foot-10 and 200 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a black and white leopard print waist length jacket and a dark colored hooded sweatshirt.
