Grinch tried destroying Christmas lights at Woodside church: NYPD

Police are looking for a man who entered Corpus Christi Church in Woodside and doused a Christmas flood light switch in water on Christmas Eve.

The suspect entered the church’s utility room, located at 31-30 61st St., on Dec. 24, 2015, at about 7:50 a.m., police said. After removing the circuit breaker, the suspect took a Christmas flood light switch and placed both items on a floor drain. The vandal ran water over the items and then fled the church.

Authorities describe the perpetrator as a Hispanic male, 5 feet, 9 inches tall and approximately 180 pounds.
