Best parties and places in Queens to see the Big Game on Sunday, Feb. 7

The Big Game between Denver and Carolina is just around the corner, and as with the previous 49 football end-of-the-season matchups, it’s sure to elicit its fair share of excitement and controversy. And that’ll be just from the commercials!

Historically, it’s also one of the biggest party days of the year, and the “World’s Borough” doesn’t disappoint with these awesome bashes and great sports venues:

Break Bar and Billiards
6 p.m.-2 a.m.
More than 18 HDTVs with quality sound to match, homemade wings and beer specials all day long! Plus, if the game’s a blowout or you’re just more interested in the commercials, grab a ping-pong paddle and play till your fingers fall off. No table minimum requirements; no packages to buy.

4:30-11:30 p.m.

11:30 a.m.-1 a.m.

Rocky McBrides
11 a.m.-4 a.m.
22 HDTVs, 16 beers on tap; McBride’s prides itself on being a bright and cheery alternative to typical dark pubs.

Jack’s Fire Department
10 a.m.-2 a.m.
This neighborhood favorite, featured on “Bar Rescue,” features 10 HDTVs; and offers pitcher and canned beer specials, beginning at 6:30 pm kickoff time; $3 Fireball shots; $1 hot dogs; and 50-cent wings.

The Live Oak
12 p.m.-2 a.m.
This Irish owned and staffed venue is not your stereotypical Irish bar, a luxury alternative to any sports bar in the state, with eight wide screens and a big screen projector; fresh and affordable food and refreshments; and Big Game specials and promotions.

Bohemian Hall Beer Garden
Kickoff 6:30 p.m.
The football celebration is sure to be good at this century-old establishment. There will be no cover charge and a slew of beer specials. Starting at 6:30 p.m. there will be $12 select pitchers of beer, $4 selected beer mugs, and combo specials with wings and pitchers for $16, among other specials.
