The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in finding the man wanted for threatening a teenager with a knife and making sexual demands in Woodhaven.

According to police, the 18-year-old female was walking to her residence on Jan. 10 at approximately 4:55 a.m. when the suspect — identified as a black male, between the ages of 20 and 30 years old, standing 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing 140 pounds — began following her.

The suspect approached the victim at the corner of 92nd Street and 89th Avenue where he grabbed her arm and displayed a knife, police reported.

Law enforcement agents said the suspect then threatened the victim, making sexual demands. The victim did not comply and refused to move, at which point the suspect fled southbound on 92nd Street.

The suspect was last seen wearing a dark-colored ski jacket, baseball hat, boots and light-colored pants.

Police released a sketch of the suspect Friday evening.

Officers from the 102nd Precinct responded to the incident. The victim was not injured and there are no arrests at this time. An investigation is ongoing.
