Police seek three suspects in pattern of LIC burglaries

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying three suspects who broke into two Long Island City apartments just a few days before the new year.

The burglars first struck on Dec. 28, 2015, between 9:18 and 9:35 p.m., according to the NYPD. The police did not release the location of the apartment but did say the suspects entered through an unlocked rear entrance and went to the basement. It is unclear if anything was taken.

On Dec. 29, between 10 a.m. and 2:45 p.m., the suspects entered an apartment on Jackson Avenue and damaged a garage door to steal a bicycle from the property.

Authorities describe the three suspects as males between the ages of 17 and 20.
