Man targeted 10- and 17-year-old girls in Jackson Heights groping attempts: NYPD

Maybe he was ashamed of himself.

A man captured by security cameras covering part of his face with his hand is wanted by police for allegedly attempting to grope two female victims in Jackson Heights earlier this month.

Authorities said the first incident occurred at 8:05 p.m. on Feb. 17, when the suspect tried to grab the butt of a 17-year-old girl in the vicinity of 35th Avenue and 92nd Street. Reportedly, the victim fled on foot without injuries.

Six days later, the suspect touched the buttocks of a 10-year-old girl in the area of 37th Avenue and 99th Street at 2:50 p.m. on Feb. 23. The girl fled on foot following the incident.

Police described the suspect as a Hispanic male with brown hair standing 5 foot 7 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with fur trim and blue jeans.
