LIC bandits push woman to floor and steal Michael Kors bag: NYPD

Two men in Long Island City pushed a woman to the ground before stealing her purse.

Police are asking for the public’s help in locating two men who shoved a woman to the ground and stole her belongings — including a pricey handbag — on a Long Island City street.

At about 11:15 p.m. on Feb. 1, police said, two men approached a 30-year-old woman walking at the corner of 43rd Avenue and Crescent Street. There, according to authorities, they pushed her to the floor and pulled her tan Michael Kors bag from her shoulder. The victim and suspects engaged in a brief struggle before the thieves fled.

The suspects were last seen running eastbound on Crescent Street with the victim’s bag and iPhone 6. No injuries were reported as a result of the robbery.

One bandit is described as a black male, approximately 19 years old, standing 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a gray hooded sweatshirt.

The second perpetrator was described as a black male with an Afro, approximately 6 feet, 2 inches tall and wearing grey sweatpants and a grey hooded sweatshirt.
