Former assemblywoman to pen book on love and money

By Gabriel Rom

A former New York State Assemblywoman and Bayside native is trying her hand as a financial adviser for unhappy couples.

Ann Margaret Carrozza, who represented northeast Queens in the Assembly from 1997 to 2010, will release her first book, “Love and Money: Protecting Yourself from Angry Exes, Con-artists, Wacky Relatives and Inner Demons,” this November from Skyhorse Publishing.

According to the publisher, the book aims to help individuals and couples prevent losing their assets to failed relationships, long-term care expenses and taxes.

A regular contributor to shows such as “Dr. Phil” and “The Doctors,” Carrozza has also recently signed with Emmy-winning production company Studio City Productions as a legal expert in a new legal-psychological hybrid docu-series, according to a press release.

She is a practicing attorney in New York City and a regular legal commentator on television.
