A 24-year-old man remains in critical condition after being stabbed by a group of teenage assailants on a Woodhaven street Wednesday night, according to police.

The victim was in front of a location on Jamaica Avenue near 85th Street at about 6:48 p.m. Wednesday when the group approached him.

Authorities said the suspects — described as Hispanic males between 15 and 17 years of age — went on the attack, punching and kicking the man about the body, then stabbing him in the neck and torso.

Sources familiar with the investigation said the victim was not known to the group, and a motive for the attack also remains a mystery.

Following the assault, the group fled in an unknown direction.

Officers from the 102nd Precinct and EMS units responded to the scene. Paramedics rushed the victim to Jamaica Hospital for treatment.

No arrests have been made, and an investigation is ongoing.
