Signal problems at the Mets-Willets Point stop on the 7 train are causing delays for Main Street bound trains in Flushing.
QNS was on the train this morning and experienced train delays for several minutes at three different stops between 90th street and the Main Street stop. The MTA made no announcements to inform riders about signal delays during any of these stops.
On Tuesday night, MTA President Ronnie Hakim joined 7 train riders in Sunnyside to listen to their concerns and update them on completed and upcoming work on the line. Many straphangers demanded that the agency make an effort to better communicate with customers when work would be scheduled and when to expect delays.
It was not immediately clear when the 7 train would be running without delays.
#ServAdv: Main St-bound #7 trains are running with delays, due to signal problems at Mets-Willets Point. Allow additional travel time.
