Update: Police arrest man who forcibly touched 76-year-old woman in her Astoria apartment building

Police arrested a man who followed his victim into her apartment building in Astoria and placed his hand on her leg.

On April 3, at about 8:40 a.m., Basilios Limberis, 37, followed a woman into her apartment building at 44th Street near 25th Avenue. Once in the lobby, he started touching her leg when she yelled at him and instructed him to stop, police said. Limberis fled westbound on 44th Street.

Police arrested Limberis on Tuesday at about 2:50 p.m. and charged him with attempted forcible touching and third-degree criminal trespass.
