Parked car in Astoria robbed: NYPD

ASTORIA — Police from the 114th Precinct were looking for assistance in identifying an individual caught on surveillance footage committing petit larceny by entering an unlocked vehicle.

According to NYPD, the incident happened at about 4 p.m. last Friday. The vehicle was parked in a driveway within the vicinity of Ditmars Boulevard and 21st Avenue.

The individual took a GPS system and a dashboard camera from the car, police said.

The suspect was shown to be a man about 25 years old, Hispanic, 5-foot-9 and 160 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, blue sneakers, a blue jacket and blue jeans.
