Man punches 74-year-old woman in the head at Woodside train station

Police are looking for a man who slugged a 74-year-old woman as she walked down the stairs of a Woodside subway stop last weekend.

On May 1, at approximately 5:15 p.m., the victim was walking down the stairs from the 65th Street subway station when the suspect walked up the stairs. He punched the woman in the head once and fled up the stairs and into the street, police said.

The suspect is described as a black male, standing between 5 feet, 10 inches to 6 feet tall and was last seen wearing a red jacket and blue jeans.
