Sac’s Place, a pizza shop and restaurant in Astoria, will bring its menu of homemade pasta and family recipes to a new location in Jackson Heights.

Sac’s Place of Jackson Heights will open at 86-14 37th Ave., according to the restaurant’s newsletter, and will be open for delivery and takeout only. Domenico and Anthony Sacramone opened the original pizza shop in 1989 on the corner of Broadway and 29th Street and expanded to a full-service restaurant in 1998.

Now located at 25-41 Broadway, the brothers serve up their mother’s recipes and make handmade pastas and stuffed ravioli downstairs. The pizza offerings include Mama’s Old-Fashioned Pie, which consists of fresh mozzarella layered over sauce and topped with basil. Patrons can also choose between 23 toppings to add to their pies.

Roasted pepper and smoked mozzarella ravioli, chicken Napoletana, and spinach fettucine are also included on the menu. They also recently added a brunch menu with breakfast pizzas and classic items such as buttermilk pancakes and egg frittatas.

The owners have not released opening day details and they were not available for comment. But according to the restaurant’s Facebook page, the group is working hard to open up the new place soon.

“Join us on our journey to open the finest pizzeria in Jackson Heights, Queens — we’re working [overtime] to make this happen and we’re taking you along for the ride,” a Facebook post said.
