Suspects steal wallet, use credit card at Astoria CVS store

ASTORIA – Police were looking for two men who stole a wallet from a parked car last week and then used the victim’s credit cards to make purchases at a nearby CVS store.

The two suspects allegedly grabbed the wallet from inside the victims car which was parked in the vicinity of 77th Street and Ditmars Boulevard around 5 a.m. on July 15, according to the NYPD. The two men made purchases at the CVS located at 31-10 Ditmars Blvd., the NYPD said.

Police describe the first suspect as a white or Hispanic man last seen wearing a black-tan top and gray shorts. The second suspect was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, with a white shirt wrapped around his head, according to the NYPD.
