Man fatally shot in Flushing

FLUSHING—A Long Island man was fatally shot in the head late Wednesday night, police said.

Richard Brown, 50, of Hempstead, was found on 35th Avenue and Farrington Street with a gunshot wound to the head, according to police.

Brown was taken to Booth Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

No arrests were made and investigations are still ongoing.
