ELMHURST—Police from the 110th Precinct were looking for a man who tried to lure a 13-year-old girl from her building’s lobby last week as she waited for her school bus in Elmhurst. The incident occurred just after 6 a.m. Oct. 6, according to the NYPD.
The victim was inside her residence at 81st Street and 41st Avenue when a man spoke to her, trying to get her to leave the lobby. When the school bus arrived, the girl ran to it as the man fled, according to police. The girl was not injured.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man between the age of 25 and 30, around 5-foot-8 weighing 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with a white stripe down both sleeves, police said.
