Police were looking for a man in connection with a bank robbery, which took place in Maspeth Monday.
The individual entered the Valley National Bank at 64-01 Grand Ave. around 1:15 p.m. and handed a note to the teller demanding money, according to NYPD. The teller complied and the man fled in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The man was described by police to be between 55 and 60 years old, is about 5-foot-2, and weighs around 220 pounds. He has a white beard and hair and was last seen wearing a blue-and-gray baseball cap, blue-and-gray jacket, blue jeans and tan boots.
