Bayside’s Atlantic Bank robbed

The Atlantic Bank on Bell Boulevard in Bayside was robbed by an unknown suspect at about 10:30 a.m., police said.

Swarms of police cars were parked outside the bank, at 41-11 Bell Blvd.

Police said they did not know how much money was taken from the bank, which occupies a small storefront on the boulevard.

Atlantic Bank is a commercial bank that operates under its parent, New York Community Bank .
