A man made off with a bundle of cash from a Forest Hills bank yesterday.
Police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed the Chase Bank at 100-26 Queens Boulevard in Forest Hills yesterday around 11:15 a.m.
According to the report, the man entered the bank and approached the 35-year-old teller and passed him a note demanding money.
The teller complied and the man fled the location with cash. The amount of cash was not disclosed. There were no injuries.
The suspect is described as a 35-year-old white man, about 5-foot-9 and 175 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black wool hat and a short sleeved wool red coat.
Police have released a surveillance photo of the suspect and anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
