Police searching for man suspected of attempted rape in Flushing

Police are searching for a man suspected of attempted rape in Flushing.

According to police, on Sunday, April 30 at 7:30 a.m. the suspect entered a massage parlor located at 40th Road and Main Street. Police said once inside, the suspect took his clothes off and jumped on top of a 48-year-old woman and tried to forcibly remove her pants.

According to police, the victim was able to fight the suspect off with the help of a co-worker, who chased the suspect out of the parlor. The victim suffered minor scratches to her legs and refused medical attention at the scene, police said.

Police are describing the suspect as a male Hispanic, between 20 to 25-years-old, light complexion with black hair.
