Cops are looking for a man who walked into a Long Island City bagel shop last month, took their tip jar and assaulted the employee who tried to stop him.
According to police, at 3:15 p.m. on Sunday, May 14, an unknown man entered the LIC Bagel Store, located 31-08 36th Ave., and took the tip jar off of the counter.
When the employee tried to stop him, the suspect punched the employee in the face and fled the location with the jar, which had an undetermined amount of cash..
The suspect is described as a black male with hazel eyes, black hair, aged 35-years-old, standing 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighing 220 pounds. He was last seen wearing black sneakers, and a blue jacket.
