FOREST HILLS — Bayside’s Kevin Zeng, a resident of Bell Boulevard, died last Friday when his skateboard rolled into the street and the 25-year-old was struck by an MTA city bus, according to NYPD.
The July 21 incident happened in Forest Hills near the intersection of Union Turnpike and the Grand Central Parkway at around 6 p.m,, according to police. The bus driver attempted to swerve around Zeng, who had run into the road to catch his skateboard, but ultimately struck the man. Officers from the 112th Precinct arrived at the scene to find the victim unconscious in the street with head trauma.
Zeng was taken to Jamaica Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
