FLUSHING — Police were searching for a man wanted in connection with an assault in Flushing.
According to police, on July 19, at 11 a.m., a 30-year-old man got into a dispute with another man inside of a spa, located at 136-20 Roosevelt Ave.
Police said the suspect became violent and assaulted the victim with a metal travel cup and punched him in the head several times.
According to police, the victim sustained a laceration to his head and was treated at New York Presbyterian Hospital Queens.
Police said the suspect is an acquaintance of the victim, known only as “Charlie.”
Police are describing the suspect as a male Asian, 5-feet-8-inches tall, 150 pounds, with a slim build, light complexion, black hair and brown eyes.
