Cops have cuffed three Queens men who allegedly robbed a series of banks in Nassau County this summer.
Far Rockaway residents Pedro Benitez, 20, and Quincy Hall, 32, were arrested on Sept. 27 and each face three counts of criminal use of a firearm and three counts of criminal possession of a weapon. Damilola Saka, 24, who is also from Far Rockaway, faces one count each of first-degree robbery, criminal use of a firearm and criminal possession of a weapon.
The trio hit three different banks close to the Nassau County/Queens border in Valley Stream, Cedarhurst and Hewlett on July 14, Aug. 7 and Aug. 21, respectively.
According to the Nassau County Police Department, in each instance the three defendants entered the bank armed with a handgun. The trio would demand money, order employees onto the floor and then flee with an undisclosed amount of cash.
No injuries were reported in connection to the incidents.
Benitez and Hall were arraigned on Sept. 28. Saka was arraigned on Oct. 3.
