A bus crash on the Belt Parkway service road in Springfield Gardens on Wednesday morning left 16 people injured, Fire Department sources said.
FDNY personnel responded at 8:49 a.m. on Nov. 15 to a call of a motor vehicle accident in front of 177-50 S. Conduit Ave.
Upon their arrival, they found a small commuter bus that had been struck from behind by an unknown vehicle at the location. The bus’s 16 passengers had suffered minor injuries from the crash.
EMS responded to the location. Eight of the passengers refused medical treatment at the scene.
