The NYPD was searching for a suspect wanted in connection with a bank robbery that occurred Monday in Maspeth.
Police said the suspect walked into Investor’s Bank, located at 69-71 Grand Ave., and approached a 30-year-old male teller, passing him a note demanding money. The teller complied and the suspect fled with approximately $1,165.
Authorities said there were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.
Police described the suspect as a white male who is approximately 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray fleece sweatshirt, dark pants, gray sneakers, a winter hat, gray scarf and black gloves.
