Police released on Monday night footage of a purse snatcher who beat up a woman at her Flushing home last month.
According to authorities, the crook followed the 59-year-old woman to the front door of her home in the area of 58th Road and College Point Boulevard at 11:05 a.m. on Jan. 22.
Upon arriving, law enforcement sources said, the suspect punched the woman multiple times in the face, then took her purse and fled the scene westbound on 58th Road. Police said the victim’s purse contained her cellphone, a bracelet and $200 in cash.
The theft was later reported to the 109th Precinct. The victim sought treatment at NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens Hospital for pain and bruises to her face.
Police described the suspect as a black man who was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a blue jacket with a red-and-white stripe on the back, black pants and blue-and-white sneakers.
