A coffee run turned out to be anything but when a women had her purse stolen from a Dunkin’ Donuts in Long Island City last month.
According to police, the incident occurred on March 18 at about 7 p.m. A 36-year-old woman stepped out of a Dunkin’ Donuts at 35-00 48 St. and left her purse in the establishment.
Soon after, two women snatched her purse and fled the location. The purse included $120 in cash and a debit card, according to the NYPD.
Police describe the first suspect as a Hispanic woman who was last seen wearing glasses and a dark-colored jacket.
They describe the second suspect as a Hispanic woman who was last seen wearing a black and white hooded sweater, black pants and white sneakers.
